Normal Working Hours

The surgery is open Monday - Friday 8.00am - 6.30pm  except for Good Friday, Christmas Day and bank holidays. However, we will of course extend these as necessary to accommodate our Commuter Clinics (see below).

Surgery Consulting Times

Monday - Friday 8.00am - 6.30pm
Saturday and Sunday The surgery is closed. The out-of-hours service is responsible for cover.

Commuter Clinics

We also offer a number of bookable appointments, early morning, evenings and Saturdays, for those patients unable to attend during normal opening hours. They are as follows:

Tuesday evenings 6.30 - 7.00pm
Wednesday mornings 7.30 - 8.00am
Wednesday evenings 6.30 - 8.00pm
Thursday mornings 7.30 - 8.00am
1st & 3rd Saturday of month 8.00 - 10.00am

Christmas & New year Opening

The practice will be closed from 6.30 pm on Christmas Eve until 8am on Monday 29th December

New Year

The practice will close at 6.30 pm on Wednesday 31st December and reopen Friday 2nd January at 8am

New Triage Appointment system 

From Monday 9th September 2013 the practice will be offering a daily GP and Nurse Triage system

How will this work ? 

Patients who phone or call into the surgery in the morning wishing to be seen that day will be added to a Triage list . A nurse or GP will then call you back to discuss your problem and a decision will be made on whether you are required to be seen by a GP or nurse or could be dealt with via a telephone consultation .    


Practice Patient Participation Group     -  The aim of this group is to provide our patients the oppuntunityto be involved with discussions about the range and quality of services provided by the Surgery .

But you need medical help fast .

There's now 111 number to call !

 What is 111?


Its a new NHS telephone number being introduced to help make it easier for you to access  local health services.  If you live in , or are visiting Hampshire , Portsmouth or Southampton you can now call 111 when you need medical help fast , but its not a 999 emergency .
